Happy Little Mermaid

This is an end of summer make using the AURORA WINGS digi 'Happy Little Mermaid' on a real clam shell. The inside of the shell is covered in Santoro Mirabelle Deco Mache - Crackle and I created the scene using lots of bits from my stash. Fussy cut leaves that look a bit like seaweed, tiny pearls and shells, paper flowers, bubble wire, vintage glitter, acrylic flowers and a little pewter seahorse. I printed the mermaid onto kraft paper and coloured her with Promarkers.

The flowers have been lovely this year but it's time to tidy up, come inside and cosy up with some autumal projects ^_^

You do such an enchanting, magical work, Carolyn! Love this 3D project of yours with such pretty coloring and all the lovely details. The bead 'bubbles' rising from the flower in the clam shell are such a special touch!! LOVE!!!

What a super project Carolyn, it looks wonderful. You are very clever and I love how you used the pearls to make th bubbles, it's a very realistic effect. I love mermaids and seahorses and am anxious to see the new Fairyland BJD's to see if they do them justice. :)
Hugs,
X
