September Inky Quest

My favourite colouring book of the moment by far is
Enchanted Forest by JOHANNA BASFORD.
This 'Inky Quest'is packed full of woodland creatures nestled amongst magical forest flora giving ample inspiration for endless imaginative colour combinations.

Just the thing for whiling away a peaceful spare minute or two.
This little fox took quite a few minutes to complete with Spectrum Noir pencils, white Posca pen and gold Fab Foil.

Now is come September, the hunter's moon begun
And through the wheaten stubble is heard the frequent gun
The leaves are pale and yellow, and kindling into red
And the ripe and bearded barley is hanging down its head

All among the barley, who would not be blithe
When the ripe and bearded barley is smiling on the scythe

All Among the Barley- Traditional Folk Song

  1. How lovely! You've done a beautiful job of colouring. I've not heard of her books before Carolyn and appreciate you posting the link. I noticed that her books in her shop are sold out, so I will check on Amazon.
